Welcome to TEAM STEAM Summer Camp!
Discover how arts and sciences coexist in this immersive and fun-filled camp for kids aged 7-11! From July 14th to July 18th, 2025, campers will explore the motivation behind movement, diving into the connection between creativity and the world of science.
Each day from 9 AM to 4 PM, kids will participate in interactive workshops that combine dance, art, and science. Through hands-on activities, movement experiments, and creative exploration, they’ll uncover how STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) fuels inspiration and innovation.
Campers will enjoy a full day of learning, teamwork, and discovery, all while building confidence and curiosity in a welcoming environment.

SUMMER DANCE CAMP - INTENSIVE

Welcome to Summer Intensive Camp: Wicked Edition!
Get ready to dance into the world of Wicked, the smash-hit musical, at Central Studio’s Summer Intensive Camp, running July 7th to July 11th, 2025! Designed for Progression Level Dancers (Ages 9-17), this week-long program is a magical opportunity to refine your technique and unleash your creativity.
Dancers will immerse themselves in ballet, pointe, improv, choreography, musical theatre, and contemporary dance, all inspired by the spellbinding story and music of Wicked. Our expert instructors will guide you through exciting sessions that challenge and elevate your skills while celebrating the magic of movement.

Each day, students will attend at least four dance classes. These classes cover a range of styles and aim to refine technique at an intermediate level and above. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire, pushing each dancer to new heights of skill and artistry.
In addition to dance technique, our program places a strong emphasis on overall fitness. Fitness classes are an integral part of the daily schedule, ensuring that dancers develop the strength, flexibility, and endurance essential for their art.
A unique aspect of our camp is the lunch-time lecture series. These courses provide valuable insights into the world of dance, covering topics such as dance history, nutrition for dancers, injury prevention, and the life of a professional dancer. This comprehensive approach ensures that our dancers are not only technically proficient but also well-rounded and informed about various aspects of their art.
Our Summer Dance Intensive is an opportunity for passionate dancers to dedicate themselves entirely to their craft, make lasting connections with peers who share their passion, and learn from some of the best in the field.

Thursday Field Trips
TEAM STEAM and Under the Sea Summer Camps take a field trip to explore a beautiful area of Forest Park. We’ll visit the Nature Playscape, St. Louis Zoo, or the surrounding park areas for a day of outdoor play and adventure. A transportation form will be required for the trip to attend. Summer Camp Block Party
We invite all campers to join our end-of-summer celebration at our Annual Block Party. Come grill out and enjoy outdoor games, face painting, crafts, dance, and fun with class mates! Save the Date for Friday July, 26th from 4:30-6:30pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Free Event!
FAQs
Attire for Summer Camps
For Summer Camps: Comfortable clothes for athletic activities and crafty messiness. No dance uniform or shoes required.
For the Intermediate Intensive: Dancers should wear a leotard and tights with appropriate dance shoes; ballet and tap shoes. Optional attire includes a dance skirt for ballet classes and exercise attire (t-shirt, exercise pants, sneakers) for fitness classes.
Please pack a lunch or snack!
We ask that you pack lunch or a snack for your child each day. Our dance camp includes a dedicated break time for campers to relax, refuel, and enjoy meals or snacks, so they have the energy to leap, twirl, and shine throughout the day.
After Care / Late Pick-up
